Peptide synthesis

The MOL Changes peptide synthesis lab is equipped with a wide range of synthesis equipment, including many sizes of reactors and solid phase synthesis tubes up to 60 amino acids in length.

MOL Changes’ peptide experts can easily synthesize and modification complex peptides such as FRET peptides, cyclic or stapled peptides, peptides containing multiple abnormal amino acids, and so on.

Peptide purification

A rich library of purification processes effectively improves residue removal (e.g. unreacted amino acids, short peptide fragments, deprotection by-products, resin residues, etc.) to obtain high purity target peptides.

A variety of advanced purification equipment is indispensable in the purification process, and we use preparative HPLC; rotary evaporator; and cryo-centrifuge to achieve the purification goal.

Peptide lyophilization

After synthesis or purification, peptides often contain TFA (trifluoroacetic acid), acetonitrile, DMSO, etc. Lyophilization can effectively remove these residual solvents and reduce the toxicity effect on subsequent experiments. In addition, lyophilization can be used to prepare lyophilized powder for peptide quantification and use, and can be accurately formulated to the required concentration (e.g., solubilized in PBS, ultrapure water). The lyophilization process is also carried out at low temperatures, minimizing the denaturation of heat-sensitive peptides (e.g., peptides containing disulfide bonds or modifying groups).

MOL Changes has a wide range of lyophilization equipment from pilot to scale-up, combined with a self-developed lyophilization process with extremely stringent standards from pre-freezing to sublimation and annealing, to provide optimized solutions for peptides with different properties.

During the experimental process, each step should take the data results as the basis to advance the experimental work to ensure that the final research results match.
