Protein and peptide labeling

In order to track or quantify a specific protein, it is usually necessary to covalently bind a molecular label to the specific protein to assist in the detection or purification of the labeled protein and its binding partner.

The labeling strategy determines the covalent binding of different molecules to the target protein or nucleotide sequence, including biotin, enzymes, fluorescent groups and radioisotopes.

Although there are many types of labels to choose from, different labels are still preferred for specific applications.

We provide a variety of labeling reagents and kits for labeling antibodies or other proteins, which can prepare fluorescent probes, enzyme conjugates, biotinylated binding reagents or iodine-labeled tracers for protein detection in tissue, cell or biochemical assays.

Biotinylation

Biotinylation reagents and kits are used to chemically label antibodies, proteins, and peptides at specific amino acid functional groups to generate labeled antibodies or other biotinylated probes for streptavidin affinity binding, purification, and detection.

Fluorescent protein labeling

Activated fluorescent dyes and kits, including FITC, fluorescein, rhodamine, or Alexa Fluor and DyLight™ dyes, can be used to label antibodies or protein functional groups, generate molecular probes, and detect them through fluorescence imaging.

Enzyme protein conjugate

Horseradish peroxidase (HRP), alkaline phosphatase (AP), and other substrate enzymes in purified, activated, and kit form suitable for coupling to proteins and preparing antibody conjugates for immunoassays.

Protein Metabolic Labeling Reagents

Azide-modified amino acids, sugars, and other compounds are suitable for metabolic insertion into proteins and macromolecules, labeling, and chemoselective coupling using alkyne or phosphine reagents via the Staudinger ligation reaction.

Antibody labeling

Provides a wide range of antibody and protein labeling kits for direct labeling with a variety of high-intensity fluorescent dyes and markers, including Alexa Fluor dyes, DyLight Fluor dyes, Qdot labels, phycoerythrin (R-PE) and APC tandem dyes, and biotin.
